Welll...here it is a little over a month a month and a half since the Caretaker changeover! and all is well so far :)
Joe & I have recently taken a deep breath, and a few sighs of relief, we are feeling a lot better about taking on this challange with short notice, and having what many of you members called "Trial by Fire"... haha...Yes it truly was! But we are still here and plan to stay... We love being here, and will do all we can to make your visits enjoyable!
The members we have had the pleasure of meeting and spending time with so far, have been amazing, very kind and helpful to us in many ways... We wish to "Thank all of You" for your help and patience.
Now for the news... We have had a VERY active summer. We have had lots of members and guests enjoying the beautiful weather, and some very successful fishing adventures.
For the most part the weather has been beautiful up here, we did have some recent rains, but much needed.
Forth of July, is right ahead and we are and have been booked solid for quite a while, and looks like we are all gonna have lots of fun that weekend. ..(Praying for good weather)
Just a few quick notes & requests...
For anyone needing to make a reservation by phone, or internet, please wait till your reservation is confirmed by me or Joe... hate to have you come all that way only to be unable to stay.

When booking your reservation, please let us know if you would like meals, and what meals you would like,( breakfast ~ dinner) and the days you would like them.
Today is June 21st 2010... the actual kickoff to a new Summer, I couldn't think of a more beautiful place to spend the rest of the summer than up here at the "Gooley Club." in the Adirondack Mountains..
Truly "God's Country" and back yard! Come up and sit on the screen porches and enjoy the magnificent evening songs of the Loons, the hooting of the Owls, the singing of the Peepers, the melodies of the Frogs, the sparks of the Lightning Bugs blending in with the stars glittering in the evening sky... ahhhhh... Adirondacks!
Can't sleep at night? what are you waiting for? We have a cure for that... A "Gooley Night" will have you well rested and ready to get up early in the morning to see the still mirror waters of the lake welcoming a beautiful sunrise and reflecting the quiet blue skys, green misty mountains and tall evergreens.....
The boats at the docks will beckon and call you to jump in and take them out for a day of fishing.... go out early and come back for breakfast by 7:30... if you have a stringer of fish, and leave them hanging off your boat, be aware of the great "Snacking Turtle" he will find your stringer of fish, and have his breakfast, while you are enjoying yours! ... just ask Brian Correll!
If you aren't a member, and you are reading this little blog... well why not consider joining this wonderful Fishing & Hunting Club... Call us or email us to inquire...
