The Gooley Club is a premiere Sportsman’s Club located in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains in upstate New York. Founded over 50 years ago, our Club offers the best fishing, hunting and outdoors experience in the Northeast. Our pristine trout waters include 8 beautiful lakes and 6 ponds stocked with brook, lake and rainbow trout along with land locked salmon and char. The Cedar and Hudson River headwaters cross the Gooley property, offering exciting stream fishing. Our hunting grounds spread over 16,000 acres of Adirondack Mountains, home to trophy white-tailed deer and black bear. Other outdoor activities enjoyed by our members include snowmobile and ATV riding over the 40 miles of trails throughout the property. Canoeing and kayaking among the loons and osprey through our chain of 8 lakes or down the whitewaters of the Cedar River are popular summer activities.
Our membership includes young and old alike who share the love of the outdoors in America’s largest Park, The Adirondacks, with family and friends.
Facilities include 9 individual cabins, a seven-bedroom farmhouse, men’s and women’s bath houses with hot showers and private flush toilets. Full time caretakers, welcome our members and guests with hearty, family style, home-cooked breakfasts and dinners from the start of fishing season through the last day of hunting season. They keep the club in tip-top condition for the enjoyment of all.
